ARTE at frankfurt bookfair

The moderator Matthias Schneider spoke to this year’s winner Kitty Crowther, me and Erik Titusson from the award office. The talk gave insight into the background and purpose of the award as well as to the nomination process. Finally, Kitty spoke about some of her books. Thanks to ALMA!

The nominated candidates for the 2011 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award will be announced during the Frankfurt Book Fair. Prior to the announcement, the recipient of the 2010 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, Belgian illustrator Kitty Crowther, will present her work in a discussion with me, illustrator and representative of Illustratoren Organisation e.V. and Andreas Platthaus, journalist Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
